Fleetlogic, a logical choice

In order to manage its field services costs, Tanktechniek has decided to install Fleetlogic Tracking&Tracing solutions in all of their vehicles. The company's Managing Director, Gijs Eskes was already familiar with Fleetlogic for he has a background in project management and worked for several companies such as NBM, BAM and Ballast Nedam, where he came across Fleetlogic's solutions. Eskes' business partner is currently exploring possibilities for a new electronic tank registration, this in association with Fleetlogic. "Therefore, the choice for Fleetlogic was logical. Afterwards, it turned out to be a good choice, because we got exactly what we wanted and everything works accordingly." Says Eskes.

Several Registrations in One Solution

Fleetlogic's tracking&tracing solution is being deployed in all 20 of the companies vehicles and is used for several purposes. Besides the fiscal registrations which are generated in accordance with the Tax Office' demands, the solution offers other, more interesting information with which Eskes can manage his business better, and save money. "The charts produced by the system give us a good insight in our driver's rides. Unnecessary rides caused by wrongful planning or bad preparation surface immediately. This enables us to act right away." Eskes says. A graphic map of all vehicles in Google Maps offers a fine tool for planning our service and maintenance. "Google Maps shows us where our vehicles are at the time and enables us to send the nearest employee to a project. A big advantage of the FLEETWIN software is that we can expose al of our 450 project locations on a map. This way, in the future, the allocation of the right personnel for maintenance duties is an easy task." Eskers adds.
